Forgeline Rolls Out Pair of New Strong, Lightweight Wheel Choices
Two brand new Forgeline wheel designs join an already large lineup of fully custom choices built to customer specification.
With thousands of aftermarket wheel options out there in the world, choosing the right set can be a daunting task. But as you likely already know, wheels aren’t created equally. Some are cheaply made and heavy, others are crazy expensive and incredibly light. And there are plenty of other options that lie square in the middle of that spectrum. But for the last quarter-century, Forgeline Motorsports has been cranking out some of the very best all-round wheels on the market. Now, they’ve got two great new options to add to their extensive catalog – the 15-spoke NW102 and split V-spoke NW103.
The NW102 features 15 multidimensional spokes, including five split spokes that span integrated lug holes. It has strong chamfered edges and five more unique grooved single spokes that reach outward beyond the lug holes. Meanwhile, the NW103 utilizes five split V-spokes that span integrated lug holes with intricate, multidimensional edges. Each one of them features a unique cutout along the spokes’ inner edge. The NW103 also includes a deep chamfered outer edge.
Both the NW102 and NW103 are available in sizes ranging from 18″ to 22″ in a variety of offsets. Like all Forgeline wheels, they’re also custom built to customer specifications – no mass production here. Customers are able to customize their wheels to their own vehicle, and even choose from a variety of color options to perfectly compliment their rides. And that’s something that few other wheel manufacturers can provide.
The other great thing about these forged, one-piece monoblock wheels is that they offer the best of all worlds. This design makes the wheels incredibly strong, extremely stiff, and very lightweight. Combine that with fantastic looks, and you’ve got the perfect solution for Saturday track days and Sunday cars and coffee meets. No need to swap them out in between.
That’s a big part of the reason why Ford chose to slap a set of Forgeline monoblock on the ultra-limited GT MK II racer. If they’re good enough for this 1-of-45, $1.2-million dollar machine, they’re probably good enough for our personal rides. So be sure and head over here to scope out all of Forgeline’s fine offerings!
