i totally relate i had my friend's Safari for over 10 days and while i grew to appreciate it (last time i had it on black rubber strap just like the rubberclads) i knew that it was not a watch i can buy and keep in constant rotation.
i will try and talk my way into 'test driving' a watch the next time i'm in the market

Eddie - Congrats man! Just be careful when wiping your ass while wearing a ROO...

Looks great - and I'm all for a cars & watches meet. And I was also mistreated badly at Tyson's 2 L&B there.

+1 on both your other points. I was thinking of having you guys over for a BBQ of sorts early summer, bring wives, shoot the shit and eat and drink.

How are you enjoying both of your 44mms?

I loved the carbon one, but because I'm in a suit more often than nought, I found myself leaning to the steel because it's a little cleaner, but the carbon one was impressive.

u know what, the SS is still in the box. i only took it out of the box once to look at it. there's no doubt the SS looks richer. that's the reason i bought it. but wearing the carbon is just so stealthy that not a lot of people would notice unless they know what it is. i love being low-key. not to mention the carbon is much lighter as well.

the new 44mm carbon never sing to me until i wear it. i thought the all black look is boring & lack of contrast, but that changes when it's sitting on my wrist. all i gotta say is the beauty is in the details.

I don't think there is a low-key, stealthy ROO
