AP ROO Owners, talk to me.

I had a ROO but ended up selling it. It was just too big for my taste and for my wrist.
I do have the RO chrono which I wear regularly. I also had the RO dual time but my wife took it and now wears it herself since it has a smaller face.
We like the RO line because my wife, who knows nothing about watches, picked it out of the entire store as the one she thought looked the best. Purely on looks and nothing else.
As the person above indicates, we like it because people admire the watch even if they know nothing about watches and watch people appreciate it even more

Back to topic, appreciate the responses. I have VC, IWC, PP, and Rolex in my collection, so the idea of my next piece is to do something a little more fun, explore my boundaries so to speak.
The funny thing is the 42mm never sat comfortably on my wrist, but the 44, of all things, with my smaller wrists, were much more comfortable.

and i hear ya on the 42 vs 44, the strap width, buckle, and added weight really make the 44 comfortable

I own and have owned numerous ROO's and RO's. Typically, I wear the ROO's with a t-shirt and jeans. Nothing beats a black or white t-shirt w/ jeans, Tod's moccasins and an Offshore. The RO's can be dressed up or down. Although, I never wear a suit or business attire, a RO can and will work well in these situations. I typically wear a PP or Lange when a suit is necessary (weddings, bar-mitvah's and funerals). However, I have been wearing my RO's more and more with casual attire just like the ROO's. AP's are very versatile and there is obviously no right or wrong way to wear one, or any piece for that matter. Wear it as you feel comfortable and enjoy it.

The other day in Maui I was in a grotto pool watching some late Sunday masters and next to me a guy is spewing blah blah blah about this that and the other. Total douchebag and look their on his wrist. On a vacation. In a pool. In 85 degrees a Rolex. I would have bet 100k on the watch brand.

Small world, would have been hilarious if we actually crossed paths and didn't even know it.

No said Doucheness was not a tall Asian bloke. I've found that most Asians are quiet about what they have....well except on the ricer forums
