went to Lorilil today, two guys checked it out in 15 min and confirmed it's genuine, left the certificate there to get an appraisal on monday.

When is the last time it was serviced? I would think that the AD would be able to open it up and seal it properly.

edit- Can they polish the crystal at all to get it "clearer" ?

the place the watch was bought from mentioned it was serviced a month or two ago. about the polishing part i have no idea i guess i'll ask when i go back on monday.

If it has been recently serviced, you want to get your hands on proof of that, in case you ever decide to resell it.

got the watch re-serviced, just in time for a formal party this weekend, got some nice compliments from my parents' friends.
