Love the fact that Paul McCartney wears this to his wedding...

I find there are special occasions in life, but that doesn't mean you should take life for granted. I am not sure what you mean about the man fitting the item and not vice versa. I realize to you there are no special events or decorum at these events, but I mentioned the 3970 for special events/wedding because I prefer a smaller watch with cuff (3970 being 36mm). The 5970 being 40mm is better for everyday. I am guessing you got a 5070 because besides having a great chrono, it is one of the bigger PPs at 42mm. Regardless I would wear any of the above watches daily, with jeans. So I guess I don't get your point.

Nice watch, but I would personally never do a chrono for a wedding...unless of course I was paying the officiant by the minute. Guess I don't need to think about that again, since I'm married already, but same applies for a gala or other special event.

Ha! Lots of us still rock the dress watch. Shit, I wear a suit to work often and rarely will I throw on a large or chrono in that attire. On the flip side, I think it's great that people rock whatver the heck they want with whatever they're wearing!
