Help with new purchase

So I am having difficulty deciding between the master calendar I tried on last week and this master geographic. The MC has some nice complication to it: day, date, month, moon phase, reserve de march, small seconds. The silver dial looks good in person. My only hangups are for a dress watch, it is 13mm thick, which precludes being work with French cuffs - not a big deal.
The MG with black face and silver hands looks stunning. At 38x11 it fits much better under a shirt (however 38 is the smallest I would wear). I like the brown strap and the complication is pretty cool (albeit of little use, but keep in mind I generally know the day and month as well). I do like the large center seconds, but the MG has a single fold deployment whereas the MC has a double fold. The edges of the dial on the MG are cool in that they are "beveled" up Hmmm. Also, the MG is used, but is LNIB condition with new strap, so not a big deal.
Which do you guys like better, and why. Here is the MG:

Well I have some good news, good news, and bad news.
I finally decided which watch I want, and have handed over the digits to my amex - so I have a new watch incoming!! I am really excited (obviously), and I feel that this will make a great addition to my (albeit small) collection.
I am graduating medical school in a few months, so the idea behind this purchase was that it would be to commemorate this event. I was going to dig into the savings, but when I was talking about it with my dad I got the next good news - he will buy it for me as a graduation gift!!! I was (am) very excited, besides not having to pay for it myself, this is an extremely big gesture from my dad. Being someone who has become successful by doing construction work and building custom homes since he was 16, my dad is not someone who is into expensive things. For my dad, an expensive watch is $250, and he doesn't wear watches anyways so he thinks I am crazy. The fact that my dad would buy me a watch of this caliber because it is something I am interested in and because it will be for graduating medical school (of which he is extremely proud) that means this watch will be very special to me. I love watches for this reason - they can be the momento from an event that will last forever and remind you every time you look at your wrist.
The bad news - my dad said that since he is now getting it for me, I cannot begin wearing it until graduation. April 27 cannot come soon enough.

That's great news Kevin, big congrats. I am graduating law school in less than two months as well but instead of a watch me and my dad are going on a trip for two weeks in february. So my first Jaeger still has to wait...
Looking forward to seeing your watch, I'm sure it will be amazing

I went with the master geographic. I went and tried on the master calendar and I liked it, but the master geographic has always been in the back of my mind since seeing it online. Things I like about it over the master calendar are that it has the center sweep seconds, and I love the second timezone with the switchable city ring. The caveat is that I haven't seen it on as they didn't have a black face geographic where I was last week. So if I like it, then I'm keeping it. If not, I send it back and get the master calendar.
Are you flying me out for clam bake/CGT driving when I graduate
