Not mine but you can find one in perfect condition for around 8k I think, possible to fit leather strap! There's an AD in Dallas I think...

Kevin that looks great, tough decision between it and the geo but you can't go wrong on either and they both fit your taste. i love the calendar and will try to see one in rl to see what you're referring to!
what didn't you like about the safari on the wrist? i'm wearing it now and although loving it, i am coming to terms with the fact that it isn't "me" whatever that means. seems fitting for a classic gent as yourself, or is it the size/heft that threw you off?
GOOD LUCK

As for the safari - they are just too big for me. I have small wrists, so it sticks up a lot (thickness, too). I was never really into the roo's, but I like the colors on the safari. for me, a dressier watch fits the bill. They had a Jules audemars chrono there with the cream dial that was my favorite piece, even against their PPs( they only had like 6).

Here is the brand new master geographic. I don't like it as much as the older black face model I posted previously. The only problem is that the old one is 38mm, the new one 40mm. I am thinking 40 is perfect size. The cool thing about the 38 is (besides the black face with silver hands) that the ends of the dial are "curved up"

Here is a master calendar pic without flash.

I also like the Cartier, surprisingly the one with the gold ring looked better IMO. The gold actually 'dulled' out the bezel, whereas the stainless was very shiny.

So it seems like the consensus is to go for the master calendar - I agree it is a fabulous piece. I was a little worried at 40.5x13 that it is a little thick for what it is, but it should be good with everything but cuff links.
