Just my personal opinion but I feel RO maybe a bit played out by now, may I suggest a more classic design in the Jules Audemars series...perpetual calendar chrono:

as for the more general pp naut vs ap ro
depends on the models but i would never buy e plain hrs and minutes
maybe when i'm 90
and not pay 25k for a 5712.. wow, no way

ap ro dual time is a great timeless piece
ro chrono is nicer imho than the naut chronos, in all variations
brown one and blue one are unique

fav pp naut is 5726
just learned of one listed at $36k but i have no idea what they go for
i just know that for that money i can have both ap ro models (dual+chrono) and would still pick 5726

things will get interesting, and fair if you put the 15305 against a 5726
only because it's similar money
otherwise, 5726 all day long

if i were you i would wait to save the $10k diff and start looking at 15305 and a 5726

sorry i thought 15305 was 36k plus but i was quoting meanmachine and what he told me they go at the ad, before discount i guess

but since u have a classic like the safari
which to me goes with everything the skel would go with (dress and occasion)
i believe you should wait/save/consider other models from nautilus line
5726 being top of my rec list

 

They have a 5726 at the west wood Patek store. I like he patek bracelet which that doesn't come with. Plus not into the look as much
