Watch here. Can't get the springbars off. Don't have a springbar tool. Pretty sure they don't have a flange/shoulder. Any tips on getting this hideous band off?

Should have shoulders...spring bar tool is a must. Take it to a local jeweler/watch repair guy, the wave band can be a pain as it is thick.

Yes it is! Was afraid someone would say this. I've removed bars off other watches with random stuff around the house, but this one is very problematic. I don't want to scratch the case. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find a shop and get a springbar tool

Yeah, probably your best bet under short time. I got the Bergeon 6767F myself and love it, top notch tool around $20.

Post pics anyway!

Too impatient to get a fancy tool. Will just get a cheapy tomorrow.
Pics to follow. The 'wave' strap is just horrendous.
