IMHO, it is worth the money for an Omega. They will last you forever and are universally known as the watch people get when they know quality and know exactly what to pay for that quality. A used seamaster or speedmaster shouldnt be too tough to find and it will fit in any circle you will be around...

If my brother hadn't borrowed it and wanted the bracelet on it,. Id get some better pictures.
I hate changing out bracelets. Always think I'm going to put a gouge in the side.

No one has mentioned the Raymond Weil Freelancer! You can wear it with jeans, a suit, to the pool, whatever, wherever and it's subtle understated elegance and function!! I got myself the day date one for US$750 delivered.
