I am looking to get myself an "Every Day" watch in the coming months. I want something that goes with a suit - a tshirt - but i dont want something that is too "look at me" while still being something i can be proud of.

I would say my budget is in the $1,000 USD range....doesnt have to be a new watch either as long as its in nice shape.

Any ideas? (post a pic too if you can)

Two great suggestions. Is that Breitling under 1000 bucks? And Hamilton is at the top of my list Alzilla --- just not sure which one would be best. Leather strap or all metal? Hmmm...

 

Hamilton and Oris are probably the best big names in the 1k range. I am a fan of the X- watches from Hamilton (Wind, Mach, etc).

I think if you doubled your budget (hard, I realize) the quality goes up exponentially. I have no idea what's even available at $1000. I would guess Hamiltons would be a good start.
