Questions on polishing and bezel replacement

Would it devalue my WG Daytona if I sent it in to rolex and had them put on a new bezel? or I dont know if it would increase its value or stay the same. I wasnt sure if it mattered if its all original parts?

It was previously over polished and the black in the numbers is very light so I thought about replacing it, as it has scratches as well. I wear it as my daily watch and was thinking of doing full maintenance on it and wearing it less often. I would prob start wearing the Santos I just got more or get something else.

Edit: Let me add that I called Gearys in BH and their maintenance guy is out of town for a week so they couldnt give me any answers, but 2 workers thought they would have to replace the bezel and that the black #s cant be fixed.

I would think that a good maintenance guy would polish and touch up what needed it.
