Watches you like but wouldn't buy! .. and why?
#61
There are a bunch on the list of watches I like and wouldn't buy, and there are a ton that have been mentioned that I would LOVE to own, the 5712 being one of them. I also would not buy a Hublot, but kinda really like them.
I would not buy the Sky Moon because of the ridiculously large price tag. I don't care how much money I have, I don't see myself ever spending over a mil on a watch.

I love this watch, but I'm not sure I would get it either. I could change my mind though. The UN Freak Diavolo

And I don't think I would get an all Red AP Offshore, although I really love it.

HA! I have that one.

it was an inside joke to mannnu81
I had a Tag Heuer Carrera but sold it to him.
Honestly, I'd probably pick up another Tag in the future. After I pay off the Pam 305 I just bought on plastic.
A watch I like but wouldn't own is the Hublot. There are a few other brands out there that fall in the same category of cool watch, ETA based movement, inflated price tag. I agree with Jox on this one.
Then there are those watches that I just dont 'understand' - the AP ROO is one of them. Stunning robust watch but I just don't see it as being realy worthy of it's pricetag. I do like the AP Royal Oak but the offshore just takes it to Guido mode and loses about 80% of its class. Just my 2c.

About $160k for the Diavolo.
I LOVE those!
