Same here. I've had mine 3 years and my dad has had his 6. No problems.

It is not that the Tag broke after such a short time that bothered me. It was how they treated a customer.

I know people here spend $$$$ on watches, but by most standards $2500 is a lot to spend on a watch. For it to fall apart shortly after warranty, and be hit with such a large repair bill was insulting.

not much love for Breitling here...

thought about getting a Chronospace and always wanted a Breitling because of it`s history in aviation and space flight

but with all those negative comments I`m a bit worried..

I personally have two Tags aquaracer automatic and the Carrera twin time automatic and I love both. TT is now 7 years old and AR is 5 1/2. No problems.

My next watch will be an Aquaracer. This one is awesome.

Omega speedmaster/seamaster aquaterra, Breitling Navtitimer/Chrono superocean, then Tag monaco. Those would be my considerations.

I lusted after that watch for years, always saying I'd buy it for a big life event. Never did, but its still an awesome piece.

Lest I seem like a total tag hater, my old roomie got himself a tag aquaracer with SS bezel and its a really nice looking, good for any occasional watch. Like I said, I've just heard about tag issues.

65, judging by the two watches you posted
i think you can save more and go with the Submariner (now older version) or a GMTii Ceramic
