Dayuuuum. That's a wicked watch, congrats on the purchase! Enjoy it! Don't let the clasp get you down. I'm pretty sure that enough practice makes perfect.

Lumma, teslam 7abebi
tips, yes i read that too and i have been reading/hearing a lot about how a lot of people were annoyed with AP's folding clasp
Dutchnick, thanks bro and yes the strap is being broken in and the whole thing is easier now, but still not smooth - this has been confirmed by a few other GP owners as well by the way so i am glad i am not the only one

in other news:
APBands replied, they do not have pics of the 24mm deployant installed on the GP's strap. so i am now wishing to see the 18mm version on any strap to see how it looks installed because both are exactly the same design and finish, save for the 6mm difference.
if anyone has pics of that, it would be appreciated

turns out my browser was blocking the images on apbands' website that show the 18mm deployant; i even emailed them telling them there seems to be a problem with their server
here it is

asked for a quote shipped through FedEx, as the quote they gave me is through EMS.
never tried them before, but do not trust anyone to ship into kuwait except fedex. hoping it's within the budget i set out for it
