I have always wanted (ahem, dream about) a Greubel forsey double tourbillon, I think they are spectacular. I had always thought I would want a tourbillon that you could see as the mechanics behind this type of movement is intriguing. However, I do fancy myself someone who likes classier watches. To be honest, I would get this Laurent Ferrier over the GF. The dial is absolute perfection, and the breguet hands&numberals make this really special.

I love small, little known watch manufacturers. I think I may need a better job (or cancel the Internet).

Before Baselworld 2011, no industry observer would have thought that a pivoted detent escapement could be put into a wristwatch and function with precision. Urban Jürgensen proved them wrong.

Love Laurent Ferrier's work, both as an independent and from his 37 years at Patek Philippe.
