I know that it was purposely designed to be a very tight fit... but maybe it's a combination of that and QC/tolerances. Like I said, one side I was able to get in, but the other is just offset by too much.

Oh and Chris, if you see this... I already saw the youtube video you guys made regarding bracelet installation. Doesn't help much.

if you go on their website and click their email- I think it's like 'info@lum-tec.com' or something- It goes RIGHT to Chris.

He responds quickly....

I would pretty much guarantee that it didn't come with the chips in the bracelet. I have had at least 6 watches from them, and all came in BNIB condition. Take it to a jeweler and have them install the bracelet...

Thing is I was trying to install this on my bed... making sure nothing around me except the screwdriver in my hand could harm the watch.

obviously everything that comes from them SHOULD be in BNIB condition though. One thing's for sure - my wooden box arrived with a chip/dent in it... but I guess that's from shipping.

Chris responded first thing on Monday (today) and offered to send me curved spring bars. He also asked for pictures of the chips for confirmation. I responded and within hours he replied and said he would ship me the spring bars and a new end link to replaced the chipped link in the bracelet.

What a guy, what a company. My father bought me this watch as a graduation present and he was impressed by how cheap it was (considering the quality and the fact that it's limited to 50 pieces worldwide). He may consider buying a watch of his own and now I know I'll definitely recommend it.

Glad you got it fixed.

The lesson to be learned here is that you always go to the source about problems first.
