I could handle that.

The Orbitas I was looking at were in the $10K+ range.

Ouch!!

Someday I will likely break down and get one. But I just don't have the space right now.

I meant 2500 for the entire Bergamo 9. I believe they list near $6k now. It's the really big stuff that blows my mind. The 40 watch winders for 40-50k No way.

Winders are nice when you grab the watch and only the date might be off by a day because I don't own any perpetuals. Although Orbita's aren't perfect and some watches don't like them. They are still the best imho.

Space really is a concern. They aren't small. I agree with that problem. I just hate winding and resetting my pieces when I put them on.

I got my Vox Rosewood 12-Slot Watch Box today.

I ordered it from thewatchprince.com (*Vox Luxury Watch Box | 12-Watch Holder | Rosewood)

It came second day air for free and is better than described.

They even sent a hand written thank you note from the company president!

I feel special.

If I had one small complaint it would be that the pillows are a bit large at 66 mm.

Otherwise, it is better than anticipated. I am very happy.

And the best part is - THREE SLOTS NEED FILLING!!

BUMP

Can anyone suggest a watch box with the following specs for a gift:

- <$325

- solid wood

- holds 3-6 watches

- must have a lock and key

I have seen many of the generic ones on ebay and amazon. But, they all have a cheap/things remembered look. I would like to get something that looks like a Venlo Blue Collection, but they only make it in a 9+ watch configuration.

I really like the Blue of the Venlo blue. Does anyone know what the particular finish is called or where to find a similar box? I am open to all finishes. Any opinions on the Blonde collection?

http://venlocompany.com/

Many thanks!!
