I had one. I played volleyball and the damn second hand fell off. I brought it in for repair and they didn't waterproof it. I washed my hands and it flooded. It's a bloody diving watch and they didn't feel the need to waterproof it after they pulled it apart? Crap quality, crap customer service, never again.

Exactly what I told Mike. The watch in person really is quit a piece. It's well done. Feels great and everything about it says high quality.

I didn't buy one even at the 7k or so which represented some 25-30% discount because of how the name feels to me. I think they make good stuff but it reminds me of my 20's.

My parents gave me my first Tag for high school graduation. That started my entire watch obsession.

It was my prized possession for years.

I really have a soft spot for them and own many.

They are stylish and affordable. They also have some amazing limited edition pieces.

My son (16) also really loves Tag and would kill for the watch mentioned by the OP.

I am not a watch guy really - meaning I don't really care about brand, movement, etc, I wear what appeals to me so keep that in mind please. I have two tags and love them. I think they make good watches, never had a problem with mine.

They sponser lots of ski racing events and have great timing systems. So if I had any money that is what I would have on my wrist. I am 25 so maybe it fits?

If I am not mistaken, Tag is the second best selling watch in the world after Rolex.

I'm not a big fan of the brand overall, but I do like the F1 (relatively cheap, looks good on a rubber strap, quartz movement is good for a beater) and the Monaco (history, Steve McQueen, Le Mans).

What's your whole collection? What kind of car did you get Paul?
