Buying a used AP ROO Rubberclad
#13
Ask Audemars themselves about it. If the movement is damaged your looking at 5k and 13 weeks of fixing (like mine)

Hamp I told you this before in Saint-Tropez but I dont know if you remember but the best thing about the ROO is that I wore it all the time with the formal clothes, swimming trunks its very versatile, sporty and its just about the perfect watch. I dearly miss the watch, I'll get mine back in a month or so. I recommend you to get one

IMHO, worth the money for a new one. Simply because of what was mentioned earlier...IF there is a problem, it could easily be a 2-5k job out of warranty and that would then put you up to new ROO pricing. I just took the "dive" and am currently waiting on the watch to be delivered (who whoo!). I didnt opt for the rubberclad though.

If I was going to look as an alternative it would be a PP Jumbo Nautlius but its much more expensive and cant haggle with pricing.
