Watch hunt narrowed down to three choices, thoughts?

Listen, I'm not a child that needs to be taught a lesson, OK? I am aware that price doesn't "always reflect reputation nor quality." That is why I said "at the very least" take a look at AP's prices. In most instances price is a good indication of the product's value. Ever heard of the saying "You get what you pay for?"

Well Panerai has been in business since 1860 so does that make them better?
In the end it comes down to personal preference and you have to wear what you like the best.

Panerai didn't become popular until the late 1990's when Sylvester Stallone wore a Panerai in a movie (I forget the name). Also, AP has been manufacturing in house movements since its inception when Edward August Piguet and Jules Audemars founded the company in their early twenties. You cannot say the same for Panerai can you? Panerai admits to using third party movements and making cosmetic modifications to make it their own.

While you make valid points, let's not let this evolve into a pissing match. We all appreciate fine watches for what they are. Yes, some use modified ETA movements, while others make their own. Some are trendier than others. Some have more history, and some have specific target markets. In the end, it's about personal preference.

If that's the case, then Josh should go with the Rolex since most women will recognize a Rolex over other brands.
