I see good deals, pick them up, and sell them. I keep certain watches... I would still have my Panerai if not for the situation earlier this year, but we do what we must.

SoCal, the Daytona is like the Stanley cup. Hockey players won't touch the cup unless they have won it. Borrowing it for your wedding just wouldn't be right. I love mine and it's an amazing piece, and like Josh I will never sell mine. Maybe Ashley will get you one as a wedding present if you drop of few hints

 

She would get me one, but she doesn't make that kind of $$. And as much as I would like to borrow one, I wouldn't actually do that haha. I will wait until we are married and settled in somewhere to get one.

josh, i love that philosophy as it is mine as well. i turned to watches in 2006 when i started my teaching job as a gift to myself, and i have been easily impressed with myself since then for no good reaaon in hindsight
