lumma, from what i find online the kuwaiti ad has the daytona for around $13.7k and the ss/plat yachtmaster for $14.6k

so i was kind of impressed with the prices the saudis have on show in Almadinah and i would have enjoyed bargaining and squeezing out a deal had anyone told me they wanted one

I love the capeland as well but as its quite a bit more expensive, for now, I want to allocate the extra money to other things...

Pretty boring to me

 

Firstly i have a few watches that aren't $50.00 let alone 10k!

On that piece there's so much to not like: the finish on the rubber isn't smooth and i can see that they wanted a contrast as the entire piece has a gloss theme. I don't think the brushed steel looks good against the shiny black bezel and also, the top has their logo (see above 12) where below 6 there's a ridge pattern - as if this piece doesn't have enough going on!

The hands are thick, the date display crude and i don't like the holes in the face where there's a cut out so you can see the dates at various hours aside from 3,6,9 & 12. It's pointless as it's not showing any mechanical complexity and looks lame. I also don't like the size of the second hand our minute counter.

I have to agree with some of what Josh says. I'm not really feeling that particular Oris. I do however like this one a lot
