Around The World Trip - Tips?

Hello TS,

This summer I am doing a bit of a around the world trip and I was wondering if you can recommend a couple "must-dos". Looking for car-related things, restaurants, bars etc. Any tips are appreciated. Here are the cities im visiting during June/July/August:

Singapore
Bali
Phuket
Bangkok
Kuala Lumpur
Hong Kong
Tokyo - any hotel recommendation?
Vancouver
LA
NYC

Thanks in advance!

I can tell you quite a bit about Van. Shoot me a PM detailing what sort of stuff you're interested in/food you like, etc. and I'll give you some places.

Saw that too Zorro, but seems as though he's from Switzerland and probably is trying to get out of Europe. my two cents.

Lack of smilie face makes me look like an a$$hole. Was just meant to be a smarta$$. Apologies!

Any stops in the middle east?

If you're in LA somewhere around August, it's well worth going north to Monterey for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The week preceding it is just absolute car-guy heaven. Starts with the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca on Agust 17th. Words can not express how amazing the whole week is.
MotoGP at Laguna Seca is late July, if that's your thing.
Depending on how Euro you really are, you may enjoy the experience of renting a convertible Vette or Mustang and driving Rte 66 or through the NorthWest.

No worries!

Nope, not stopping in ME this time. Renting a Vette or Mustang sounds like a great idea, but not possible - just turned 17

Well, maybe not if you're getting crunk in Thailand but I'm sure the restaurants and clubs in the US and A will disagree.

Either way, have a nice trip and don't miss the Phi Phi Islands when in Phuket.
