I was in the Valley yesterday and wanted some Kabuki around 3pm, went there and it was closed. Went somewhere else after Liz suggested another place she had seen and it was ****ing awful. I was unbelievably pissed.

Kabuki - 11/2
Shochu - Hitotsubu no Mugi. This is a barley shochu with an alcohol content of 24%. It was very good and had a little more kick than the stuff that I regularly drink.

Spinach "Omelette" - Spinach, eggs and dashi steamed on a plate.

Mussels and Nasubi - Baked mussels with panko fried eggplant served with a miso sauce.

Toro Tataki - Seared toro, radish sprouts, scallions, ponzu.

Crispy Ika - Fried calamari with a sweet and spicy glaze.

Hone Senbei - Deep fried (Spanish Mackerel) bones.

Aji - Minced spanish mackerel with green onions, ginger and kaiware.
