A Motorcycle Platoon is responsible for the Prince on his daily schedule, and escorting sovereign heads of state visiting Monaco.
The equipment and vehicles of the Carabiniers have been upgraded in recent years. Mobility has been improved by the adoption of modern vehicles, adapted to different missions, such as two MOWAG Piranha Vs, six Peugeot P4s, and a number of BMW R1200RTPs.
Old rifles, and revolvers have been replaced by weapons like the M16A2, and Glock 17.

High season is coming up and will be rather busy, with less updates...

Diamonds in the Sporting with Rihanna
Pop sensation Rihanna will hit the stage at the Sporting in Monte Carlo this summer. The acclaimed singer will be performing some of her best recent releases for adoring Monegasque fans.
The Pon de Replay talent of modest Barbadian origins will be giving a stellar performance at the prestigious establishment of the Monaco Sporting for the princely sum of 600 euros per ticket. The price also includes dinner.
One of the best selling artists of all time, Rihanna has consistently topped charts with hits like Disturbia, Diamonds and We Found Love since her first album in 2005. The seven Grammy-winning international pop sensation (to name but a few of her many awards) will give two concerts in Monaco on 10th and 11th of July.

First I have to say this thread is absolutely amazing! 
Any suggestions on must see stuff around the area?
I will staying in Cagnes-sur-Mer for about a week (3rd - 10th of August)
I have never been to the French Riviera and Monaco.
