You could still head to St Trop from Cassis if you travel along the A50. Drive past Hyeres, along the coast past Le Lavandou and Cavalaire-sur-Mer and you'll end up in Ramatuelle/Pampelonne/St Tropez. Coming in from that side, there's hardly any traffic.
Besides this, if you're going to Aix, i'd combine this with a trip further north to 'The Golden Triangle' in the Provence (Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux etc...). It's an amazing part of France, great roads, awesome food and incredible scenery/old towns. Whenever I'm in the South of France, I always go here for a few days.
Then there's also the Gorges du Verdon aka the Grand Canyon of France. Great for driving also.
Or, north of Nice you can go to Grasse and St. Paul de Vence. Also wonderful little French villages, which are great for sightseeing.
Seriously. There's plenty to see.

And believe it or not.... I have never seen the Gorges du Verdon..

You are welcome my friend!

I'd visit Nice again in a heartbeat! I stayed there for a couple of nights during my road trip last summer and everyday when we went out to eat we ended up in the old quarters. Very nice with a lot of restaurants and great food! A must visit if you're in the neighbourhood!
Did you mean from 26.07.12 - 02.07.12 and will you be back by the end of July?

I will think a little more about it....

What kind of stuff would you like to see ?
Krav Maga is very efficient for sure. I guess that he goes to train at ISA.
