Besides this, if you're going to Aix, i'd combine this with a trip further north to 'The Golden Triangle' in the Provence (Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux etc...). It's an amazing part of France, great roads, awesome food and incredible scenery/old towns. Whenever I'm in the South of France, I always go here for a few days.

Then there's also the Gorges du Verdon aka the Grand Canyon of France. Great for driving also.

Or, north of Nice you can go to Grasse and St. Paul de Vence. Also wonderful little French villages, which are great for sightseeing.

Seriously. There's plenty to see.
St. Paul de Vance was also on my mind. A good idea.
And believe it or not.... I have never seen the Gorges du Verdon..

I totally agree with you, Nice is awesome.

I only spent a day in Nice, in the city. I found it dirty and was probably the only time I didn't fully enjoy in France.
I don't really understand that. They wash and clean the streets of Nice EVERY night.

Going to be back in Cannes 26-2 again if anyone is around.

Did you mean from 26.07.12 - 02.07.12 and will you be back by the end of July?

I have a friend who is also in this biz and also has a Krav Maga school,..he was regularly away for some time training somewhere in the world,..like in Israel for some special fighting/guards7military training

I will think a little more about it....

What kind of stuff would you like to see ?

Krav Maga is very efficient for sure. I guess that he goes to train at ISA.
