Any suggestions on must see stuff around the area? My family and a few others are all staying in Cassis this summer for about a week.
I've been to Monaco/French Riviera a few times, but I dont think the other's have, so we'll probably do that. We'll probably skip St. Tropez cause of the traffic.
We were planning on seeing Aux en Provence and the Roman Aquaduct....anything that you think is a must see in the area?

Besides this, if you're going to Aix, i'd combine this with a trip further north to 'The Golden Triangle' in the Provence (Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux etc...). It's an amazing part of France, great roads, awesome food and incredible scenery/old towns. Whenever I'm in the South of France, I always go here for a few days.
Then there's also the Gorges du Verdon aka the Grand Canyon of France. Great for driving also.
Or, north of Nice you can go to Grasse and St. Paul de Vence. Also wonderful little French villages, which are great for sightseeing.
Seriously. There's plenty to see.

I'd visit Nice again in a heartbeat! I stayed there for a couple of nights during my road trip last summer and everyday when we went out to eat we ended up in the old quarters. Very nice with a lot of restaurants and great food! A must visit if you're in the neighbourhood!
