Ferrari 🏎 360 Spider 🏁 F1 - Challenge Stradale
My car was in what you today would refer to as a development program.
It had up-to-date technology with many software upgrades and a lot of pieces from the Challenge Stradale.
Ferrari S.p.A uses special client cars for development of future models.
This Spider was insanely LOUD!!!! THE loudest I have heard.
While making turns around Monaco with some friends visiting one evening, I was suddenly stopped by the Police and was asked to follow them to the station. People from the buildings around where we drove had called the police and complained about the noise..... After apologizing... and promising never to "test drive" this "prototype" as he called it, the police boss let me go with a warning.... one one condition (and because he knew who I was)....that I got the H... out of Monaco for the night.... Police are more strict here than you might think. And in all fairness, we did make a lot of noise.....
I sold it after around 3.5 - 4 years and 43.000 km.....

I was a very very young 👦🏼 and a very very happy 🙏🏻 Ferrari owner, when I got my 360 Spider in late April 📅 early May 2001.
All good things come to those who wait🚦, so after around 2 years wait ⏳ I finally got it. The wait was well worth it. "Nobody" back then, had a factory new Ferrari...
📰"For many people one of the first items to tick off the “If I Win The Lottery” checklist, would be the purchase of an outrageously pricey supercar. It’s much easier said than done, though. Ferrari, the maker of arguably the most famous sports car in the world, is big on exclusivity. Do you have to be approved to buy a Ferrari? ‘Approved’ is the understatement of the year. It takes a lot more than just a burgeoning wallet to own a new Ferrari. Ferrari will often demand to see this before allowing customers to buy a new one. If you’ve never owned a Ferrari before, you’ve got a really slim chance of being approved. Almost all first-time buyers will need to provide proof that they’ve owned second-hand models first. If you’re under the age of 40, most Ferrari dealers won’t take you very seriously. It’s Who You Know. You’ll need to have an established relationship with a Ferrari dealer as an absolute minimum requirement."
But I was "lucky" ☘️ enough to be in the first pool in the world 🌍 that got it delivered. That was quite a big deal. Back then Ferrari only produced around 4000 cars a year, extraordinary exclusive 💎 indeed. With almost 40 📊 millon cars produced annually thats 0,010 📈 percent of the total number.

I love Mercedes ///AMG and I have had quite a few - not to forget numerous Audi and Volvo G - VEHICLES (GUARD / GUARDAESPALDAS / SECURITY) - but I also had a stately BMW LIMOUSINE in service. Being the marque's flagship model, the 7-Series also felt like real Premium. It was a super car for work and long distance traveling. Very comfortable and elegant.

As a great daily driver I have been driving around and about in among others a small ///AMG modified Mercedes A-Class. I even had a couple of the first generation A-Class long time ago. Funfact is that EVERYBODY in Monaco bought one back then for shopping in Nice. Because it is a perfect car for work, undercover, shopping, beach etc. But the world is changing and it was time for something new, something different. An exotic EV.
Driving like a 💪🏻 BOSS!
The BMW i3S is a technological wonder, with an efficient electric powertrain inside a futuristic carbon fiber chassis with a spacious and exclusive cabin made of sustainable high-quality stuff. The interior just looks amazing, highlighted with natural light from the glass moonroof. With a 1-touch operation it slides back or tilts up to let in as much air, blue sky and sunlight as I want. It has a wind deflector to help keeping strong wind out. My car is fitted with black "L.A" 20-inch Bridgestone Ecopia tires with shorter, stiffer sidewalls and firmer suspension for improved responsiveness and agility. Almost like driving a go kart. Needless to say it also looks totally amazing. This red and black BMW - with the black 20" wheels is a car that people notice - it has a lot of presence.
Sound 🔊 enough 🎶 for a DJ
As a (ex Pro) DJ it is no exaggeration to say that I am extremely interested in music and gear.... So the 360 Watt optional Harman Kardon HI-FI surround sound system - with its 12 loudspeakers (5 tweeters, 5 midrange and 2 bass) makes for an F****** 😈 awesome sound experience. I enjoy it SO much. I used to have a system similar to this in my Mercedes SL 55 ///AMG and I have been missing it ever since.
❤️🙏🏻 to👱🏻♂️ I now have it again. Santa Claus 🎅🏻 came early this 🎄 year.
Outrageous ⚠️ performance
This showpiece of innovation, craftmanship and technology is worth its rather hefty price tag. Compared to the standard i3, the S Model (the electric BMW M version) does noticeably lift it to another level. It has improved performance with more grip, more power and agility. It's quicker, sportier and a lot more fun to drive when pushed. I measured 0-60 km/h to only 3.5 seconds. When accelerating from 60-120 km/h it feels very responsive, just like one of my Lamborghinis, my Ferrari or the Porsche. And a lot of fun. It is due to the way its e-motor delivers max torque from zero RPM. With just a single reduction gear, there is no shifting to do, just rocketing uninterrupted thrust all the way up to its terminal velocity.
Picture of my electric M version 📷 from the BMW 🌐 ConnectedDrive App.
The BMW App connects my iPhone to the i3S through my BMW ConnectedDrive account - then I can remotely control many functions. Going somewhere from home or anywhere? Then I can send an address directly to the i3S Navigation System from my phone. Oh yes. So on my iPhone I can also see the current information about the car. It is so cool - my first App controlled car.
The 🔮 future is electric 🔌
The i3S system is so aggressive that it's possible to drive the car with just one foot. How do I do that? Well the regenerative braking recaptures kinetic energy as electricity when cruising or decelerating. I simply lift the accelerator and the car immediately begins to slow down. I LOVE this driving technique.
