Tomorrow can be your first ... call up Lugers tomorrow, ask for reservations for 2 anytime after 5 PM during the weekend.

You can get literally walk in for lunch, no questions.

In August me and a buddy tried to make reservations over the phone... no luck.

I've been to the better steak houses/meat joints in NYC and my personal choice is Peter Luger, mostly because the steak is somewhat fatty and flavorful. The bacon there is great too.

Jamie, where did you decide to go? I was just in NYC and had two great meals there (upper eat side - David Burke Townhouse) and in Tribeca at Robert Dinero's place - Laconda Verde. Was thinking about a steak but decided on these two.....
