Cool Restaurants + Best Steak New York?

Looking for restaurant suggestions (any cuisine) plus your rec. for best steak in New York. Nothing that I can't get a short notice reservation please.

Wolfgangs is my favorite steak in the city and I have been to all of them Jaime, in fact I'll meet you for dinner buddy!

Minetta Tavern is the best steak - but good luck getting a reservation on short notice.

Peter Luger is the good second choice - but it's not fancy.

I love The Little Owl in the West Village. Not 5* dining, but it is a great restaurant with a great atmosphere.

I would second Peter Lugers in Brooklyn. If you are going to be on Long Island i would suggest Tellers Chophouse in Islip.

Wolfgang's is my favorite as well...

Sparks use to be top notch but just isn't the same place anymore.

Love Homestead as well, but Wolfgang's for sure is the best.
