In Minneapolis/St. Paul here are the choices:

Murrays, Manny's and Kincaids(tie), Morton's, Ruth Chris(In that order). Of course there are the other lower franchise steak joints, but these are the top.

Chuck, I would think Murrays is up to your standard. If I remember correctly, their Silver and Golden butter knife steaks are aged at least 45 days IIRC. But in any case, it blows away any other steak house I've ever been to.

I did have a steak in Jackson Hole a long long time ago that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Unfortunately I do not know the name or location exactly.

My fav. in NY is Morton's from my experiences, others will vary, all depends which night and so on as it wont be perfect every time you go.

But no joke, Buddakahn in Atlantic City has a NY Aged Beef dish that is to DIE FOR, thinly sliced wrapped all around the plate, rare, so amazing and I didn't even expect it from a place like that!

I've had some of my best steak experiences in Atlantic City!
