Skeet/trap questions
#21
My Beretta Gold E is superbly reliable, and for the money is a fantastic gun. Holds value very well. I have mine custom fitted, and usually keep skeet/skeet chokes in the barrels unless shooting trap. In general, I know many people with automatics who have constant jamming problems, so I'd go with an over/under of some kind.
So yeah, that's what I'd suggest. I bought my Gold E new (for 1,000 under msrp
).

The Gold E are beautiful guns.
We went back to the range last weekend and had a great time. A nice Gentleman insisted I use his gun..... Krieghoff, a work of art!
After much research I went ahead and purchased a Caesar Guerini Summit Impact 30". It should arrive tomorrow! I haven't been this excited about a new gun in a long time.
For the wife, a Beretta 3901 target RL (a nice semi-auto 12 gauge with an adjustable stock for little people).

Congrats on the purchase! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Caesar Guerini makes a fine gun. And yes, Krieghoff is fantastic, along with Blaser.
Soon enough, you'll be wanting some bore tubes if you're into it enough. Briley can hook you up.
