Walther P99. Ewwwwww.

9mm is much cheaper for ammo.

Glock? Certainly a very good reliable choice with Glock...

what is the advantage to his grip like that?

P99C comes in either 9mm or .40 S&W.

I am partial to the Walther for the way it fits in my hand. I have nothing against Glock though, unlike the under-informed few I hear...

I have to laugh at that. I can only think that is what gun control freaks think guns actually do.

I can only think that maybe they want to keep their elbow locked for stability...

I have to imagine that -
A. Can't be comfortable (a lot like the chicken wing pandemic)
B. Can't add any stability that I can think of.
For photography you keep your arms in so you can use your own body for stability because your own arms move too easily.

Get the MP 15/22 with Magpul gear. I have one, and it makes training really fun and cheap. Nothing like running several hundreds of HV 22 rounds and not feeling bad about ammo cost. Not to mention, it's fun as hell to shoot...

They make a .22 Mini-14? I got a Mini in .223 when I was around 14-15. It is not a very accurate rifle, but is a lot of fun at a ranch.

^I'm considering converting my AR to 7.62 b/c I tend to use it as a pig rifle and a .223 just doesn't have the stopping power to drop a big east TX hog.

For javelina the .223 is just fine, but only when using the tactic known as the 'malaysian ambush'.

'Malaysian Ambush' you say?

That sounds like something that will give me responses in google image search that are not work safe.

On the 7.62 vs. 5.56 I have no real prejudice either way. They both are fast moving pointy things. Bigger is usually better so I just assumed that the 7.62 was the way to go. When I actually get around to buying the gun I am sure I will thoroughly test the differences and pick the right one for me.

Does anyone have any experience with Magpul or VLTOR?
