No problem. And, IMO, that Nemesis' badass factor is double that of the Steyr!

The only question is "how far?".

Personally, I swear by a Weatherby Accumark in .30-378. Anything inside of 400 yards is cake, it'll ding things happily at twice that range, and is more manageable than some of the big slugs.

Nominal would be around 600 to 800 meters and impressive would be 1000 meters, consistently w/in 1 MOA.

Not exactly a bolt rifle, but....

I have a Pedersoli in 45-70. Need to find a 1k range.

I'm a fan of .308 and the Lapua.

You cannot go wrong with a Remington 700... Good enough for the Army Sniper Program.

You'd do well to put as much money into the optics as you do the rifle.

If you want a sexy bolt action tack driver:

I have one in .308 and it's my favorite bolt gun.

Yea, I know. Looking at good quality glass makes my head hurt as much as the rifle itself.

Rob,
I saved $200 on a NightForce I bought over the weekend through the Live Search cash-back deal. You sign-up for a live search account. Search for Nightforce (using IE). Go to the the ebay links that have the cash-back symbol and use buy it now. Pay with Paypal.......and after all that it actually worked! I paid $1810 for the 5.5-22X56, Zero Stop, NP-R1 got free shipping and $200 credited back on Paypal. The dealer is authorized and all the other online sources had the same $1810 price.
