I wish i could have gone on that bread run with you. I'm a little upset at myself for not making it. Although i hope next week we can make a milk run , my AR is getting lonely.

I found them on Gunbroker a few weeks ago when LWRC shipped their first run of orders out after Nov. 4th. I was fortunate to grab them both up before people started price gouging. There are a few currently listed at the moment. GunBroker.com Online Gun Auction

It is an LMT with swappable barrels. I just got the parts in to convert it to 6.8. I hope to make it to the range soon. Stay tuned.

Three AR15s? You could trade one of them for an M203 .

I thought you need a class 3 for the 14.5" barrel?

Not if the compensator/flash hider/muzzle break (one long enough to bring it to 16") is permanently attached.

Seriously though, those things are redonkulous! I tried a Desert Eagle once (which is a pretty big deal when you live in a country where potato guns are almost illegal) which was flippin' awesome, but I can't even imagine firing a few rounds with those.

Where do you even go from here when you get bored - anti-aircraft guns? Apache helicopter? USS Josh ship?

Thanks. How do you like the LMT vs LWRC? Is there a noticeable difference in quality/fit/finish between the two manufacturers? They both seem to be very high quality from everything I have read, was curious how you felt they stacked up side by side.

Damn nice. I'm still deciding on optics for the new M6A2. I think I need to do more bread shopping. The cupboards can never be too full!

I have some higher caliber weapons on my wish list. I've been thinking about mounting a Phalanx system on my house for practical home defense purposes. After that, I guess it is time to get started on that moon base I've always wanted to build.

Both are excellent, but LWRC is clearly of higher quality. They feel lighter and much more balanced than the LMT. The LWRC's bolt/carrier and piston system is quite impressive. I'll be breaking them in next weekend, so I'll have more to report.

That is for sure.
I've yet to use anything that has come even remotely close to the Trijicon ACOG/red dot combo. I highly recommend it.
