Should the batteries need replacing, you do this via the underside of the car. It can be done relatively quickly apparently.
In Matt Farah's SmokingTire podcast he explained that there are charging terminals that are very easy to access so if the battery ever dies the car can be jumped started just like any other car too.

The batteries could be replaced in less than 2 hours, maybe as little as 1 hour. Depends on what kind of lifting aid you've got.

Latest update

Hi all,

Here is a little update as to where Koenigsegg are up to with the car.

As you can see, the engine is now in the car which we are so excited to see. It was bench run before it was installed and we will be posting a video of this in the next couple of weeks.

The body panels have all been prepped and will start to be painted in the next week or so.

Please let us know if you have any questions and if we can't answer them we will ask Koenigsegg.

What an absolutely ridiculous car, love this thread! What kind of estimated ETA is there for the car to be completely finished? December/January?

Something I have always wondered.....

On the bare CF cars Koenigsegg and Pagani do, how do the get the weave to align across seperate panels in perfect form? Do they do 1 more "final" layer of carbon. I can't imagine or wrap my mind around how they archive such perfection

Thanks for the question. Understandably we didn't have a clue so had to ask Koenigsegg. Here is what they said:

"The top layer on clear carbon finish is just there to look good visually. It's a lot of extra work, and you have to remember the carbon is pre impregnated with resin, so very sticky and hard to handle.
It's a craft for artisans and takes years to master. On top of that it's going face down in the mold so you don't actually see the end result until it's out of the autoclave and out of the mould."

Glad about the little update, was starting to get impatient again as you can probably understand with such an interesting and amazing machine!
I want to know why they opted for a 'singular' outlet at the back of the bonnet (like the cc8s), rather then the wider ones like the Agera R have. In my opinion the new one looks better and more modern however there must be more to it than that!
Also, could they tell us any more on things like their progress on camless engines and rumoured sports car that they're apparently going to make?
-Thanks
