@ZondaUFO [Kris] - Without a doubt, the engine of his Pagani is an enigma. Although I wish that in the future know about the unique characteristics of your engine, also understand that there is a privacy policy of the company AMG to be respected.

The article 'Lovecars' quote: [the 'La Monza Lisa' is the only one to have changed the side reflector lights to blend in with the body colour]

^Very convenient in my humble opinion.

I think it is not the only, others are coinciding with you. One of the first Huayras to arrive in the United States (Matte / black Huayra), had the orange side lights, now they are dark, more in tune with the body color.

Hope it's not your first and last purchase of a work of Horacio Pagani. :-)

I am sure that 24 hours, are no longer enough for you. Thank you for your kindness in responding and the link.

Regards.

I honestly don't know all the mods / changes to my engine. Michael just told me some basics which I've already shared. If you are that interested to know more you should ask him directly! I doubt he will tell you much since he won't even tell me, but give it a shot!

This is the second time I feel like you're quoting an article written by someone else as being my words.

1) I never said that my car sounds differently than any other Huayra. I don't have enough 1st hand experience to even have that kind of opinion. That was Paul's (Love Cars) observation. He described it the same way to me immediately after we got back from our drive as he does in his blog post. He has a lot more experience with these cars than I do. He stated his opinion in his blog post, but he did not quote me. I respect his opinions.

2) regarding the side markers - I had them darkened upon arrival. Again, I never said that I was the first and/or the only Huayra owner in the US to do that. Paul stated that he was just driving with three other Huayra's earlier that day and none of them had modified theirs. I don't think I've ever even made any comments at all about the side markers. I think his comment was directed for other US owners as if to say, "everyone should do this! It's easy and it makes a huge improvement." I agree with him.

Thank you! I am loving this car! I drive it as often as I can - so far everyday since the delivery!

Kris, sensire congratulations with your Pagani Huayra 'La Monza Lisa' delivered to you. Awesome, spectacular car application in all meanings without any doubts. Can imagine, how you are enjoying driving your new Huayra...
When you will get enough fun from driviing and will decide to obtain some "more and over" - we can discuss it. Now we are at final stage with this AMG engine, uprated to stable and safe 1000+Hp daily driving and track-cpmpliant (with all drive-train, transmission engforcement as well). the MegaCar appcliaction(mean 1 MegaWatt power = 1360+Hp)is also in work and been completed up to next 2015 season (I much hope this)...But - even current Huayra 'La Monza Lisa'- an awesome and worth all-side respect application, let me repeat my congratulations to you !

ha! ha! Thank you, but I do not intend to bother anyone about this topic. My comment was more a compliment and an expression of desire / curiosity, not a demand. :-)

It was not my intention. I made an observation on the words of Paul (quoting Lovecars) and shared with you, and expressed my taste by changing the lights, was very successful.

Then I remarked that there was another Huayra (obviously unseen by Paul) that would have gone in the same direction, making the same modifications / changes. Successful decision again. It was just a remark.

On the topic of engine sound, it was clear since its first response. :-)

Express myself through a translator has not been very effective, as you may have noticed. My apologies.

I apologize for misunderstanding your comments. I appreciate all of you contributions to this forum.

So far, the Huayra has surprised me most by how easy it is to daily drive while still providing nonstop excitement! That is extremely difficult to achieve. I have commented many times that I feel cars with DCT's always lack the feel - Pagani's SCT by XTRAC is very fast and smooth but still delivers a special feeling when you shift gears. The traction control is very clever too. It allows you to play without feeling like it's intervening and with the ESP off you can really appreciate the balance of the car and the grip of the tires, although truthfully I haven't pushed it super hard with the ESP off yet.

The same obsessive attention to detail that we can all see in the visible areas of the Huayra was also given to the driving experience. I salute Davide Testi. He and the engineers dialed it in right. Not only does the Huayra look like nothing else, I can confirm that nothing else drives like this. The torque is bonkers.

My only complaint - I don't like that the paddles are mounted to the steering wheel and move with it (like McLaren). It's great for the track but not so much for street use. I prefer when the paddles are fixed to the steering column (like Lamborghini, Ferrari). The easy solution is to use the stick and I am enjoying that feature a lot more than I expected!

Thanks everyone!

I understand 'Ms. Lisa' is taking up all your leisure time off late, but I feel this thread deserves some exclusive photographs (preferably of the factory processes, delivery and garage). I'd personally love one of/with the 'R' wheels

Please oblige, Kris

Thank you! I will dig up more of the build pics soon. I haven't gotten many good photos yet since my main photographer was on job at Pebble Beach last week. He will meet with me in a week or two and we should get some good pics.

I plan to put the Zonda R wheels on the car in October. They are finished in anodized black.
