You have a point there that it's really in your face, unlike the aventador or Porsche spoilers but I'm sure Maclaren wouldn't have designed it for looks along. I'm sure people were questioning the spoiler when the Veyron came out.

Personally I reather like it if the spoiler was "in your face" up high, unlike the LaFerrari which is tucked in and barely out when deployed.

The salesman at the dealer told me this particular p1 had its transmission and battery removed, so it was not operable. But this is what the final product will be.
