Yes thats why Koenigsegg uses carbon fiber aluminum honeycomb aloy in their chassis and kevlar from the beginning! Oh wait.... Maybe Pagani inspired/copy themselfs on that and added the titanium... Hummmm, interesting! Pagani is nothing of an MIT on CF. They use normal, vulgar tecnhics as Koenigsegg uses and other brands use. The only brands that might be considered experts on CF are Ferrari and McLaren because they are in F1.
No manufacture is anywere near the Koenigsegg engine. And offcourse sourcing out third parties is a pretty easy move....

One thing i can tell you, the engine that Koenigsegg developed and continues to develop in house its a true MIT of enginering contrary to some companies that do not have the knowledge or decided to go the easy way sourcing out third parties.
Rockstar just so that you have the facts. Pagani developed the first Carbon Fibre chassis designed for a road car for Lamborghini in 1984; it was called the Countach Evoluzione. It never made production but it was the first, 9 years before McLaren launched the F1.

In 1987 he was responsible for the design and development of the Countach Anniversary

In 1990 he collaborated on the design of the Diablo and set up their advanced composite production facilities

In 1991 he set up Modena Design and in 1992 helped design the Diablo Anniversary.

For the rest of the 90's he provided composite consultancy to a number of manufactures including Ferrari. Lamborghini and Dallara.

So yes he is regarded as one of the foremost experts in the use of carbon fibre

As for Koenigsegg, their bodies are all built in England; they only build the minor carbon parts at the factory. So yes a major part of their work is done third parties

As for their engine, it is still based on an uprated Ford racing block.

And if you are talking about their valve less technology, again this is nothing new; the idea has been around for years and has appeared in various prototype engines

What??? McLared inicianted the use of CF on automotive with their F1 car. So they lead the way in data and was to work the material. Koenigsegg makes their CF chassis in england but they are made according to their specs of building, materiais used (carbon, kevlar, aluminum). Their chassis is the best in class in terms of weight, stifness, and weight that can suport. The engine nowdays is totally Koenigsegg, and even the core block has nothing of Ford on it already. I'm even amazed how you guys are so, lets be polite missinformed.

Rockstar if you had read my post properly you will not have made your comments above.

As I said above Pagani built the first "Road" car with a carbon chassis, not a race of F1 car.

And Koenigsegg do not make their own bodies like you say above, a British subcontractor does under contract to Koenigsegg. They have no other relationship other than customer and client.

You say their body is best in class, please produce the figures to back up that statement

As for the engine yes it is now made by Koenigsegg but its roots can still be traced back to the Ford block.

These are the facts, if you can prove otherwise then please produce the data to back up your claims
