What are You proposing in order for it to be "fair" if I may ask? That we compare the Zonda F to the CCR for the sake of "fairness"? The Agera R has 1140 hp so will just have to wait until Pagani has caught up for it to be "fair"? Should we similarly compare the fit and finish of the Zonda to the Agera for it to be "fair"? Wait for the next Koenigsegg to measure up against the Huayra for it to be "fair"? This is not how it works and you should know this.

Recognizing Koenigsegg's strengths is not taking sides for them or against Pagani but giving credit where credit is due. The problem with you and streetrod is your passion for Pagani makes you want to have it all for your favourite car. It's innocent and endearing but it's not rational and out of line when you go out of your way to clog up a Koenigsegg topic and share your boyhood dreams with people that have not asked for them. You do a wonderful job in the Pagani threads and you should keep it this way. This is the supercar forum, not the Pagani forum. People are allowed to say and think nice things about other supercars without you being offended and going on the defensive. I mean, calling Christian von Koenigsegg classless? Really? This is how we play this game of yours? I am not quite sure who you are or what makes you so special to think this is in order but Horacio and Christian are the modern day Enzo and Ferruccio and should be respected for what they've created without reserve. If you are looking for competition then buy a tennis racket instead of living vicariously through Horacio's and Christian's accomplishments. These cars are supposed to be FUN and you are BORING. You and streetrod should be thankful that you as car enthusiasts get to enjoy two such great men during your lifetime and not exclude one because you prefer the other. The only losers in this situation are you guys because you deny yourself of a pleasure.

Haha no problem! Enjoy your victory.
Elhimiel, too read your posts it would appear you are an intelligent person, but then you go and spoil that perception by writing what you have above.

I have time and time again stated that I have the utmost respect for what Koenigsegg are doing and am good friends with a number of his employee's but for some reason you refuse to accept that statement and then try to paint me as a Pagani fanboy. I am a car enthusiast plain and simple, yes I like Pagani but I also like Koenigsegg. Why can you not accept that????

Forums are places where people exchange views, if you cannot accept that others may have a different opinion to yours then maybe you should set up your own forum and exclude people like me.

I laid out a number of points a couple of posts ago all based on fractural information that anyone with a few mins to spare could verify, but rather than concede that I may have a point you instead accused me of trying to trap you. You do yourself a disservice sir.

They is a great saying from a guy called John Maynard Keynes (You may have heard of him) And it goes like this:

"When the facts change I change my mind. What do you do Sir?"

I live by that saying and have changed my mind when presented with the facts, most recently on another Koenigsegg thread. If others on here were to take that on board this forum would be a much more pleasant place.

You rightly stated that both companies deserve to be supported, and I whole heartedly do that. I felt honoured when Pagani personally invited me to the Huayra launch and when Christian gave me the time to discuss his cars.

So please please stop trying to paint me as some Koenigsegg hating fanboy. If you need to point your displeasure somewhere then point it at EXROCKSTAR who I suspect has an effigy of Horaco Pagani in his bedroom with pins stuck in it. There is a guy where the word balance has no meaning

Couldn't agree more. Let's go out on a high note!

"I got to know Christian back when I was writing a lot about Saab and he was leading a consortium to buy the company from GM. I got the same factory tour that Dan did, back in 2010 (look up Swade99 on Youtube and I’ve got film of a drive, with Christian, in the CCX on Koenigsegg’s airfield – the ‘no hands’ sprint is amazing). I’m so pleased that America is going to get to know Koenigsegg cars better now that the Agera is certified there. Bugatti gets all the press, but Koenigsegg is the real deal. There’s hardly a finer mind in the automotive world right now than Christian von Koenigsegg and what makes that even better is that he’s a perfectly nice guy, as well."

Go ahead Elhimiel and get the thread locked, because again you have shown that when confronted by the facts you have no answers.

Your ability to totally ignore highly relevant statements when they appear to be in conflict with your narrow vision of the world has been sad to witness. This mental immaturity and blinkered view will I fear not bode well for you.

But I truly hope at some point you see the light and grow up a bit, maybe then in the future we can have a conversation as equals.

Have a good day mate

I've got better things to do than quarrel over the internet and I did give you a perfect opportunity to let it rest and end it on a positive note with my latest post which was touching on the original topic with a very neutral character? I'm sorry if it enrages you but you seem like a person that is easily angered so I would lie if I said that your attempts of insulting me caused any pause for self-reflection. If you're really dying to know, then this outburst of yours is precisely why I chose to discontinue our discussion. You're petty, volatile and never far from bizarre displays of this nature. Who would willfully sign up for this type of abuse? Not this poster, I can tell you that.

I genuinely hope you reach a place where you learn to relax and not take things so seriously, in sha'Allah. Until then I wish you all the best.

Wow, who would have thought that a simple comparison between two of the greatest cars to be built and there would so so much arguing. We all love cars here, can we not just agree to disagree.

I know, I hate it when suppossed car enthusiasts spend time slating one particular brand or another, Any true car enthusiast would embrace all brands. But sadly it is something one sees all to frequently i do not think this kind of behaviour will ever go away.
