WSJ's Dan Neil on the Pagani Huayra

I totally agree Artist. Pagani always mentions is not record of 0-60, but then is another story. As Steve Sutcliffe says in his article, his game is in the higher gears, especially after the fourth gear. This car is much faster than it is said. 2 years ago, according to unofficial information published by the South African press, during testing the prototype of C9 would have reached a top speed of 411 km / h. However, it is believed that the production version will have a final ratio of shorter box, not to exceed 380 km / h, which is at present. Pagani is very reserved and does not disclose performance data with ease. As always says Horace: step by step.

If only more journalists wrote as entertainingly eloquent as he, car magazines could actually be fun to read again.

I don't know that Pagani owners care too much about absolute performance numbers.
I have only been onto Pagani for a little while, but what I have gathered in my short time following them, is that there is so much more to the cars than outright speed. No one else does quite what Pagani does, in the way that Pagani does it. And this is a bit wierd for me to say, as a serious Koenigsegg fan.
But it's kind of like dating an exceptionally beautiful woman. Maybe she is not the best cook, and maybe she is not the best dancer, but there is nothing like walking into a room with such a woman and realizing that everyone is looking at you, and yet no one is looking at you. I imagine driving a Pagani is a lot like that.
Trying to define a Huayra by its acceleration numbers might be fruitless.

^ You are wrong and right.
When it comes to numbers of pure acceleration there will always be faster cars than Paganis.
But if we are talking performance wise ( lap times) the Zonda clearly won the last era of super cars
So there is more behind them than a pretty look...
