Next Bugatti Veyron to be a Hybrid?
Lighter, faster, more powerful Veyron already in the works!
Call it a sign of the times or the future of automobile, but supercar manufacturer Bugatti has not ruled out following in the likes of Ferrari with the Enzo successor, or Porsche's highly-anticipated 918 utilizing Hybrid Technologies.
According to Auto Express, the successor to the Bugatti Veyron will remain the companies pinnacle performance car and will feature the very latest technology and materials available.
“The big challenge on the next car will be reducing weight – we are looking at some incredible technologies, such as wheels made entirely from carbon fiber. Hybrids are definitely something we’re looking at, too,” Schulenburg said.

I've seen a lot of rumors published by Auto Express over the past few years... Curious to know how many of them turned out to be true.
All I'm hoping for is that Bugatti continues to make >$1m supercars, as opposed to focusing on more "pseudo-mainstream" cars in the form of 4-door sedans.
(An example would be Tesla. Since stopping production of the Roadster, all they have now is a 4-door sedan.)
