It's probably cheaper for Hennessey to just get the parts they need, rather than buying donor cars.

This is just a tuned car like Ronin's.
The level of engineering to accomplish something like the Veyron is several times this in terms of people, design, engineering and money. Also I don't see many people in something like 30 years bidding for this at an auction but they will for a Veyron.

Note: The Hennessey Venom GT design is based on the Lotus Elise / Exige. The Venom GT is created from a base Lotus Elise / Exige and utilizes components including but not limited to the roof, doors, side glass, windscreen, dash, cockpit, floorpan, HVAC system, wiper and head lamps. Hennessey Performance and the Venom GT are not associated with Lotus Cars.
Is your problem with Mr. Hennessey or the car itself? Why not just say what's on your mind instead of leaving everyone to try and figure it out.
