Maybe it is the practice of introducing extremely desirable performance and exclusivity in a more practical form.

I agree Matt, not a fan of the exhausts but it's classic bugatti!

Any news on weather or not Bugatti will turn a profit from any of the new cars it makes?

I like the Galibier but 3000 units? And its not only that they wont be able to sell even half of those, its the exclusivity too. I mean when you buy a 1million $ car you would like it to be exclusive and 3000 units isnt an exclusive number for that price...

They are not going to make 3000 Galibiers, it's a typing error, a translation error or a misunderstanding on someone's behalf.

I was told there is a draft of a plan for a 4 model lineup, with the Galibier, a "cheaper" sportscar, a SUV and eventually the Veyron "replacement". My source is a drunken German man wearing an expensive suit and ridiculous sunglasses in Wolfsburg some time ago. I trust him, and why wouldn't I?

I like the Galibier . It´s a positive message to people who want to go on a journey with more than two people. A luxury journey for 1.4 Million Euros said Bloomberg. So many will cost the Bugatti 16C Galibier.

I read an interview with some Bugatti/VW hot shot in CAR Magazine a few years ago that every car they sold by then they made a profit from - that was in 2008 I think. That doesn't mean they made up the development costs of course ;-) So I am pretty sure this will be a profitable project for them because they're going to use the existing drivetrain.

But 3000 can't be right. They must mean 300 ... and even that will be difficult, IMO!

It looks very nice though! Love the interior. Wouldn't complain if someone gave it to me. Not sure if I'd spend my own money though.

Well then it should be 300, which seems much more logical. That source may actually be right, i heard they might unveil a more affordable sports car, but first time i hear about a Bugatti SUV. That would be interesting to see...
