500,000 for a car that doesn't work and has already started to rust????????????????????????
Someone educate me please, does the rust spread or is there a way of reversing it?
Also will the engine ever function properly again?

You can spray paint on rust if you want, but rust is oxydation of metal. In the end you have no metal anymore.
I read the engine is dead, you'll have to change it. So the only thing I see possible with it, is creating 4 wheel tables + 2 topgear style bugatti chairs for your living room ...

I wonder if the intention of the buyer is to part it out? With things like the Veyron engine block watch winder etc? Maybe someone will make some money off it in an interesting way. Either that or its a second dumb ass owner who will make a mistake of trying to fix it.
