If you check my posts in these Venom threads, I've always been weary of these numbers.

I hope Hennessey makes me eat my words. As far as I'm concerned, those numbers are on paper, not real world.

 

Holy Crap. It even comes with a hood AND wheels!!! JH is really stepping his game up!

 

I see John probably twice a month a little get togethers a couple of the Houston guys attend. I'll ask him if they've VBOX'ed the car or how the 0-200 number was reached. John is a regular at the Texas Mile and his facility does have an onsite track. He doesn't put up numbers unless he can back them up. He still comes out and hangs out with the guys that run on the streets in Houston and mixes it up.

 

Are any of these coming stateside? Any here now?

 

There are a couple stateside. He showed up to a local meet in one.

 

The question is, is any attempt being made to federalize the car? Or is it sold as an incomplete vehicle, a la Rossion? Or is it merely a heavily modified Elise, still carrying its Lotus Elise VIN and registered as such?

 

If those numbers are real, wouldn't it need those special tires that the veyron is fitted with?

 

Lotus on roids. I like it.

 

So how reliable is it? Or is it like the vipers blowing crap all the time.
