Cool to see some familiar faces in that video!

I love the new look and I can't wait to see more.

dmanero is an unknown quantity at this point
Now so far I like what I see, still recognizable that it's a SSC and yet if look very new and futuristic enough be be around for a while. Can not wait to read an in-depth article and see some detailed photos of it.

Thanks for the clarification, definitely reassuring.

So ... is this a re-skin or a brand new car? Has the interior been re-vamped in the same way the exterior did?

I'm still unsure how streetable 1200hp on a RWD lightweight can really be ... but we shall see.

If tuned correctly with the right gearing, boost setup, and tires. 1200hp is controllable.

Exactly!
I saw the car back in like 2006, at Motorsports of Scottsdale and had never heard of it until I saw it in the flesh. The guy told me the name and I thought he was telling me a stupid joke until I went back to my hotel to research it.

This new model looks 65x better than the old one.

Complete redo/upgrade on interior and exterior. Chassis and wheels are being updated for sure. Drivetrain not much change.

Streetable... Completely, with such long legs and its mid engine placement, it remains very civil at highway speeds and around town as well. SSC knows that the new car must retain this usability in order to be successful. However, the car's potential can be exploited in the hands of the right driver and I'm anxious to see it in the hands of some capable, respected reviewer.

The front looks terrible. Reminds me of Jason's other project, the Bertone Mantide.

Looks pretty cool. Look forward to seeing what the finished product looks like. We know it's gonna go like hell.

I like it so far - and I was a fan of the Mantide as well.

Here's a rear shot of the new car - kinda

I love that there is no trunk, no shut lines on the front... Extremely clean and purpose built...

I'm sold on this version already. Even the name.
