So the name of the car seems to be Bugatti Veyron Supersport, 1200 hp, 425 km/h, official debut at Pebble Beach. There is the information also that engine will be reworked with higher rev limit and possible flex-fuel. Design will be reworked also, as I was told not to expect it to look like normal Veyron anymore. It will be not a kind of the power kit or something like that, it will be über-hypercar set to redefine the meaning of speed, that is what I was told. Also here is the link to the German article with some confirmations to my information, also name Supersport surfaces here for the first time:

It not the HP figures thats matter if you guys see the NM numbers you will get shocked.

Yes the engine is a little different than the one on the Veyron..




No Veyron production should be sold out @ 270 normal veyron.. the Supersport is the last 30 Veyron SS going to be produced. its included in the 300 units. 1.650-1.950m Euro.

Hi H50, I am really so glad to welcome you here and thanks for sharing your Bugatti knowledge. I am very excited with Veyron Supersport and waiting the launch with passion, it is going to be an absolute beast.

 

Thanks a lot for the info H50. Only 30 units is a bit sad, I was hoping for some more but exclusivity is of course very important for that price.
Can you give us some more info about the car's purpose? Are they trying to make it like the Veyron (sporty but still comfortable and luxurious) or will they make thie Veyron SS like a "Scuderia version" of the Veyron, pure track and race oriented?
