Cool! The wheels you can see are a tremendous improvement over the originals.

For those who don't admire the Apollo's styling, the photo on this link may be the best pic you've seen.

Weather you are a fan of the car or not, that pic should make you sick to your stomach, especially given the fact that a friggin 20 year old was driving it at the time.

On seperate note, the safety structure built into those cars is unparalleled in the production car world as far as I am concerned. If you are going to crash a car while driving very, very fast, this is the one to do it in!

The Apollo is designed by the guy who designed the very successful 1980s Audi Group B rally cars. I think that is good enough.

Why does it have to be designed by a billion dollar plus racing program? Just because you can make a fast race car doesn't mean you can make a good road car. The Apollo (which is actually around $500k) will smoke every $600k-$2mil Ferrari, Maserati, Bugatti, McLaren, Porsche, etc.

Like the Koenigsegg, Pagani, Spyker, SSC, etc, just because it doesn't have the funding doesn't mean it isn't engineered great. In fact that often means it is done better, more efficiently without waste.
